Six Little Ducks That I Once Knew

Victoria likes this song.

Six little ducks that I once knew,
Fat ones, skinny ones, fair ones too

But the one little duck,
With the feather in the back,

He rule the others with a quack quack quack.
Quack Quack Quack (2x)

He rule the others with a quack quack quack.

Happy 5 months old birthday, William!

Today William is 5 months old. I'm typing this as he sits obediently on my lap and watch me. So it's just photos of William now (with his friend Goofy the singing dog - named by Victoria when she was 2) before he starts to get restless and grab the phone, or chew the table, or kick his legs.

Making cookies... Round 2!

We made cookies again this afternoon. These pictures are almost as fresh as the cookies out of the oven! This time, we put cocoa powder, but after the cookies came out, realised that it's not enough. But the ones I tasted this time are crunchier.

Daddy and Victoria did most of the work this time, while I took over William to put him to sleep. He was playful on the bed, even with the curtains drawn and air conditioner on. Half way through my effort, Victoria knocked on the door, and asked where were the chocolote chips. I said it's on the work table in the kitchen, if not in the fridge. She said it's not there, and not there either.

Hhmm... so I had to bring William downstairs to help look for the chocolate chips. Found the bottle, hidden behind a bowl.

Then it was back to my mission to put him to sleep. After feeding, I placed him on his tummy, and in a way "forced" him to sleep. I lay beside him, and he played a few minutes before giving in to sleep. Me... I was zzz already la.

This is Victoria helping to sift the flour. Notice the "meow meow" flour on the cheeks?

And this is Victoria measuring the margarine.

Look at what I have in my mouth!

Caught in the act... tasting the raw stuff. Mummy made me spit it out, incase I get tummy upset.

Work in progress

Of course... the final product.

While trying out her cookies, Daddy told her that these are made for a special person... her! Victoria took one, put it at daddy's mouth and said, "I feed you... because you're a special person." Or something like that la.

Back from church

This morning I chose Victoria's clothes for church. I picked a long sleeve white shirt, which is her favourite "work shirt" to match with a flair jeans skirt. She was ok with that, but wanted to match that outfit with her favourite school red shoes. I said no la, she should wear her kai kai white shoes, since there was no red on her white shirt, and blue jeans.

Then she said, "Fine, I wear my red long pants then and I want to wear my red shoes." Smart.

I said no... you wore that last week to church. She replied, "No, I wore my blue pants."

Aiya, she remembered better than me. Anyway, it was a small battle on who will win. Finally, she gave in... of course Mummy can win her now when it comes to fashion. In maybe 5 years time, she maybe more insistent.

So, to "reward" her, I wore my jeans and chose a white blouse as well. Daddy copied us just to be "in". William can't fit into his jeans yet. So he wore his blue Oxford-knitted vest. : )

Btw, William is officially 5 months old tomorrow!

September 11th... a sad day for all of us

No, it's not because I mourn for the victims of 911. I care but I do not know them. But Victoria, my little princess is hardly 3 1/2 years old, and we received the blood test results for her allergies on this day.

September 11th, 2008.

I didn't blog about this earlier, mainly due to logistics as I was outstation. Then I didn't had the heart to blog about this because I wanted this news private. And then as we move on, and 2 weeks have passed and I'm surprised I'm easily surviving, and she being stronger than I thought, I think I should blog about it now. Not because I want sympathy. Nor a shoulder to cry on. Nor help in any form, although any information about this will be much appreciated.

But I want her to know, when she's older.

If you remember that on Malaysia's Independence Day on 31st August, Victoria was admitted to hospital for acute gastroenteritis. During the same admission, the doctor looked at her ezcema which has long been a problem and not healing. An allergist doctor came to chat with us, and suggested some measures we can take. But a blood test is needed to truly determine the cause and allergies that she may have, besides the E.G.G culprit that we know of.

So they drew blood from her. She cried. But she was brave. Daddy and Mummy were there to hold her, while the nurses and doctor took her blood.

Her blood test result came out on Thursday, September 11th. We received the result and report recommendation before meeting the allergist doctor. I read it, and it sounded bad, but i felt nothing still without talking to the doctor yet.

Victoria, according to the report, has very severe allergy to house dust mites, with mild allergy to egg, chicken, ikan bilis, wheat and milk. When Dr Yadav, the allergist doctor, whom we later found out was a professor, spoke to us on the food and related food products that Victoria is not to touch for at least, the next 6 months, it suddenly dawned upon me that my little girl will be very sad. Amongst many other banned food, are her favourite sausages, yogurt, ice cream, cakes, cookies, wan tan mee, spaghetti, bread, buns.

My tears flowed. I couldn't control them. The maid took care of William in the doctor's office. Victoria was half interrupting us and just being restless. Hubby sat nearby. The doctor infront. As he continue speaking, he told me not to be so emotional. What? I thought. This is not just a patient. My daughter is hardly 3 1/2 years old and all the food banned are her favourite.

So what can she eat? It's like telling her to eat just white rice, pork and vegetable. Hubby said we should stay strong, and not let Victoria see us break down.

Victoria somehow knew. We brought her to the Organic Farm shop immediately after the hospital visit. Grabbed some wheat-free pasta and spaghetti. Found out that they have soya-based ice cream, but that only come in 1 flavour. That day itself, I became a member of the Organic Farm shop! Hhmm..

2 weeks passed. Victoria is stronger than we thought. She has on a few occassions, asked, "Why I can't drink milk but why other babies can?" And she has also kept asking me, to some extend I think she's just being cheeky, if there's egg in the food that she takes, eg while eating a raisin, "Mummy this one got egg or not?"

Some days I can see she feels sad. She feels different. I think especially in school during tea breaks when she cannot join her friends to eat the same food, or when there is biscuit or cookie on the table but she cannot take. But she has shown maturity and courage.

I keep explaining to her that the allergies are just temporarily. For a while, darling. After Christmas, or by her next year's birthday, she can eat all the food she wants. Deep down, I hope and pray that I am right. What's the light at the end of this tunnel? I'm not sure myself, except that we need to slowly reintroduce the food to her after 6 months. Or maybe 4 months. Some people ignore this, as it's just mild allergies. But we want her to grow out of it, and we want to hasten that. We want to cure her of her ezcema, so she don't have to itch and scratch and bleed.

The Roboclean we bought last year came as truly a blessing in disguise and we have to thank a close friend for recommending us to this. It sucks out all the dustmites from the mattresses and fabric, and everytime I see the "pukey" looking water after each exercise, I am deeply pleased. We bought allergy covers for the mattresses and pillows, and used 2.5 bottles of anti dustmite spray all fabric material including the carpet and sofa set. The maid has been quietly understanding all these, and obediently helping me do the vaccuuming.

Yes, we have declared WAR against all house dustmites! And this is just the beginning. Her skin is slowly healing, but we will not know for sure until another month or so. In the meantime, it's more vaccumming and hot washing the bedsheets, and maintaining the house a notch cleaner, or ten notch cleaner... because we want you to heal, Victoria.

Come sleep with me

Taken sometime back, when Victoria invited her little brother to laze with her on her bed in the morning.

William, seems to be saying, "This bed is mine mine MINE now!!!"

And Victoria jie jie says, "Huhhhh... smell my breath before I brush my teeth!"

Our project: Making clay magnets

We bought this box of clay and stuff from Toys R Us last weekend, and Victoria was very excited about starting this "project." (We term anything special our "project" eg putting photos into photoframes, making play dough, art and craft work, etc) She kept pestering me to open the box and start on the project together, but I had to explain that this takes a long time and we will have to find a free day to do this(well, this is my first time too, y'know).

So last Tuesday, we had the opportunity to make clay magnets. Quite simple, but I didn't allow her to touch the clay powder or mould, coz I just realised the box says this is for children over 5. But it also said, that it's not for children under 3, so I read that when I bought this but not the former. Ahh, what the heck. (What happens to 4yos then?)

Anyway, it was great fun, except for one part when Victoria wanted to paint the tulip clay, but I also wanted that for myself. She said we should share, ya I know, but I just wanted to do this little one by myself... Mummy never had the chance to make and colour clay magnets when I was a child, you know. ; )

She stomped off. Said I was naughty. Took off her red apron. I continued my work as I knew she will be back.

I was right. She came back after she realised that I didn't "pujuk" her back. Haha. She said I was very naughty again, and that she didn't want to talk to me. Really? Hhhmm... I just ignored her and asked her if she wanted to help. Then she forgotten that she was angry at me, and all's well again.

The 2.5hour project ended at 5pm, then we both went for our afternoon nap. We were both tired after so much "hard work"!! Of course, the little one was already having his afternoon siesta!

Victoria, say Cheese!

Victoria the artist hard at work... of course the base of all beautiful work is her favourite colour BLUE!

The final artwork...

Going to school

Victoria goes to Kingdom Kids under the CEC R.E.A.L education system. She started in January this year, which was 2 week before I quit my job in order to focus on her and the coming baby (William due in April).

In the beginning, Victoria was fine, with Ma Ma sending her to school, and staying with her during the orientation week. When I took over, I sent her to school and she was very emotional. I remembered her telling me that she doesn't want to go to school, while on the way there. I explained to her that she's a big girl now, and it's great to meet new friends and learn new things. We got through that by distracting her with the trains and cars we see along the way. But when we arrived, she told me the same thing and would not let go of my hand.

She started to cry when I brought her to the class, and insisted that I stay with her. The teachers were understanding. Victoria would not join any of the activities, instead she just wanted to sit beside me, and hug her Barney bag.

I remembered during tea break, the teachers brought all the children (6 of them in total, including Victoria) to the toilet, and Victoria insisted that I bring her. The teacher told me to take this opportunity to leave, so I obediently stayed outside the toilet, while the teacher "convinced" my little girl that mummy will still be outside. But I hid around the corridor. I heard her cry, screamed for Mummy and my heart broke. I held back my tears as I peeped at her, praying that she will not think that Mummy do not love her.

God, it was so tough. Later the teacher told me that she settled down after the tea break.

I think the next day, or 2 days later, hubby decided he should be the one dropping Victoria off at school, while I just do the fetching. Good idea, because then he can tell Victoria that he can't stay back in school because daddy needs to work.

Daddy pre-empted her psychologically during the journey to school and carried her into class. She was fine.

It's nearing October now, 10 months since she first started formal education. Victoria, although still shy and reserved during class, and participates only when she wants to, is doing great. She comes home with new songs sometimes, and tells us about her friends, and enjoys her weekly homework. I see her craftwork on the walls along the corridor, the same place where I hid and cried when I left her.

She can even recognize the way to school, because when I take a different route, she asks me where we are going. When we go to church using the same route, she asks if we are going to school.

Besides that, she shares her special one-to-one moment with Daddy in the morning, and loves to see the morning glory flowers while they wait in the car for the traffic light to turn green.

Daddy and Mummy are so proud of you, Victoria.

This picture was taken yesterday in the morning.

And this is her Barney school bag which Popo GongGong bought for her last year.

Watch us drool!!

I dunno why... why the two kids have this thing about drooling. I can understand the 5 month old, but I can't understand the 3 1/2 year old. Maybe she just thinks it's funny.

Anyway, here's for the record

Balloons for the kids while I spa away

While I was having my spa treatment last Sunday, hubby brought the kids to a nice chinese restaurant along Bkt Bintang. There was a clown there (beats me.. clowns now days are hanging out at chinese restaurants) and he was blowing and making balloon toys for the children who patronize the place.

Victoria asked for an aeroplane, a blue and red one. Then she asked for a pink poodle for William. Hhmpk.

When she picked me up, I asked her, "Why William got pink balloon?"

She said, "Because uncle dunno william boy or girl."

Oh really. I see.

Then I countered her, "What about you... why you get blue aeroplane?"

Unabashed, she replied, "Because uncle sayang me."

That's nice.

We all sayang both of you.

Strike Two!!

This morning I placed William on the bed again, after his morning bath, and hoping that he will sleep by himself, just like yesterday.

Guess what... he did! Yippeee... STRIKE TWO!!

Keeping my fingers cross that this will be the same tomorrow morning. : )

William... the young chap

William is one special baby. Coming to 5 months old end of this week, he has been a relatively easy baby to care for SO FAR (I'm comparing with the sister, whom to be fair, we only see her on weekends when she was an infant).

Sleeping habit
William wakes around 730am to 8am, in time to wake his sister to prepare for school. Then he sees her and daddy off, and takes his bath, afterwhich, he goes back to sleep. Then he wakes again around 1130am and follows me and maid to pick Victoria from school. In the afternoon, he sleeps from 3pm to 6pm, of course not continuous (I wish la). In the evening, he enjoys seeing all the activities and sound around him and only falls off to sleep around 10pm. Plus minus.

William sometimes sleeps on his own. Once, I was busy with some chores, and placed him on his bassinet. I knew he was looking at me running up and down the stairs, and when I was done, I found him.... asleep. There was no crying for attention.

Then another time, I was with the two kids in our bedroom at night, and attending to Victoria as she has many night time activities eg story telling, choosing and wearing her socks, cleaning up, changing Heh Heh's clothes, etc. William was on our bed and just playing on his own, and I saw him turn his head left, right, left, right, repeatedly as if knocking himself out... haha, and then he slept. Just like that.

I can't recall all the incidences he slept on his own, but there were a few and the other times when we had to carry him, he never cried himself to sleep nor sent us wondering what he wanted. Except, of course a couple of times when I was away at night and he was looking for me. And a few times a very bad crying maybe from extreme fatigue.

Happy
William is cheerful most of the times. But he has his moody days. He enjoys his sister's company, and laughs at her antics. Two nights ago, the two of them were hugging, and William grabbed a lock of Victoria's hair. Hubby was trying to release his tight grip, while Victoria yelled some "Ow Ow Ow" (frankly, it was not that painful, she likes to exaggerate), while I carried William and tried to help hubby too. Then I saw William "bin joi" ie sulked his lips, and within seconds he too began to cry.

So young, and yet babies know how to feel, and imitate.

Feed
I breastfed William since birth, with a few occasions of formula milk during outings, or when he is very hungry. We started him on Isomil Soya milk to avoid any risk of eczema but I'm thinking of changing him to normal cow baby formula after he turns 6 months. Most of the time, he is on breastmilk. Fresh supply everyday. : )

He is a small eater. He drinks his milk frequently, but doesn't take a lot during each feed. He's definitely not a morning guzzler, but a midnight snacker. Loves his afternoon milks too. The funny part about feeding him is, he is very sensitive to sound around him, with exception to the times when he is very hungry. Else, at the slightest sound, he would pop his head out, look at me, look around him, and all these while my blouse is up... so this makes breastfeeding not very feasible in public.

Bathing time
Yes like most babies, he loves water. The only slight discomfort he shows is during hair wash. Once, during an evening bath, he held on tightly to the basin and would not let go eventhough it was time to dry up. Maid and I was amused, but he didn't felt the same. His lips pouted, then he cried. Funny. So we let him play with the water a little longer.

Talking and play time
William talks alot on some days. Loves to make funny sounds, and enjoys playing "peek a boo" or even hearing the names of daddy mummy and family members. He loves interaction. Hopefully this continues as he grows older.

My own Lego creation

This is Victoria's own Lego creation. I was and am impressed. The only thing I "helped" and added was the man in the tower. ; )

Making cookies

Last Saturday, we decided to have a family project... making eggless cookies together! It's about time too, because I had always wanted to do this together with Victoria even before I delivered William, but never found the opportunity. Now circumstances have in a way "forced" us to make this happen, and hubby initiated this by purchasing some ingredients first the day before.

The recipe is simple on its own, but we changed the self raising flour to rice flour, because of the wheat content in the former. And the cookies were supposed to be eggless ginger cookies, but since I didn't have the preserved ginger stem, I ommited these and we put cherries and chocolate chips as decoration.

Victoria was very excited, as she knew these were her special cookies. She helped sift the flour, put them into the margarine as daddy stired, measure the sugar and flour and she helped to decorate the cookies of course. William, joined us a little later after a short morning nap, watching all the activities from his stroller.

Towards the end, she was more interested in playing with the dough, and making a mess of the place. I think she got restless and impatient to see the results. Anyway, the cookies were not commercial standard, but for first timers, we gave ourselves a PASS.

Here are some pictures to feast your eyes on.
Cutting the cookies... what a mess!

The raw stuff!

Baking in the oven

And finally... yummy!

Two special surprises

Last Friday afternoon while I was telling Victoria a story before putting her to her afternoon nap, I received this phone call from Shangrila Hotel. A lady called Mimi, introduced herself and immediately informed me that my hubby have bought me a year's membership at the hotel which then caught my interest.

Hhmm... did I hear her right? So I listened on as she briefed me about the benefits and perks of being a member of the hotel's prestige club.

Towards the end, I asked her, "Did my hubby asked you to call me so that I can decide whether we are interested or not, or he has already bought this for me?"

Yes, he's already bought the membership for me. Wow. I'm so happy. So now I have to find myself reasons to dine there. : )

Then this morning, hubby told me that he has planned out "something" for me after church. Turned out, it was to be a spa treatment at Villa Manja, near KLCC. Initially I half heartedly resisted the idea as there were chores which I planned for today, but quickly later, gave in. (Of course what, how often does one's husband plans out a spa treatment for the wife?)

The spa started with a foot oil massage by a medium sized Filipino lady. I was immediately humbled as I sat on the chair, and her at my foot, washing my leg, and massaging my foot. During the body massage that followed, my mind drifted to the two kids. Surprisingly, I missed them so soon. There was a pinch of guilt as I was being relaxed, but at the end, it was worth it.

To sum up the session, it was a treatment well done and well enjoyed, although initially I was sceptical as the ambience was slightly lacking. But each part of my body was not spared from the arms of the professional therapist. The hot stone massage was truly an experience worth repeating.

At the end of the 2 hour session, hubby and kids and maid were already waiting for me, and Victoria ran to me when she saw me.

Next time, when you're older, Victoria, mummy will share with you more but right now, you and William make do with the baby oil foot and arm massage I give you la.

And thanks hubby.

The way to church

This morning we went to church in PJ. When in town, we visit DUMC on Sunday mornings. Like every other Sunday mornings, it's always rushed as we prepare the two kids for church, cleaning them up, changing them, rushing Victoria to finish off her breakfast, then packing into the car.

On the way, Victoria took a toy from the car and passed to William. Because it was not cleaned, we kept it back. But she said, "Then William take which toy?"

So I took out William's new teether which is already washed and passed it to William. Victoria said, "But it's not washed."

I told her, "Don't worry, it's washed. If it's not, I would not give to William."

Thanks jiejie, for making sure I have clean toys.

Kisses for my little brother

There were many times when Victoria kissed her little brother, I can't recall the first time, but I recalled the feeling of being blessed as I watched a little girl kiss her new baby brother. I think this is more because I was pre-empted of little kids, especially more in girls, feeling jealous of the new addition in the family.

Last night, after dinner at Tony Roma's at Midvalley, I was feeding William in the bedroom when Victoria came up to him, and gently kissed him on the head. Then she said good night.

Sweet.

But she ain't so much an angel when going to bed, coz she has sooo many excuses not to lie down, or close her eyes.

There were times when she told me, "Mummy I can't sleep."

And I will suggest that she close her eyes.

Then she replies, "But I still can't sleep when I close my eyes."

Well... I say, "Close your eyes longer then."

It worked a couple of times. Other times... sigh. My patience is always tested.

Mummy, can I have a puppy please?

Lately, Victoria has been asking for a puppy. She didn't insist. She's only voiced to us her intention. The first time she asked, I was surprised. We knew she loved dogs and all sorts of animals, but dogs and cats and cows took a particular interest in her. But I was surprised she'd learn to ask for a puppy as a pet.

So I said, OK, when you're older and know how to take care of the puppy. Then she asked Daddy the same thing on the way to school one day. We later found out when we exchanged "notes".

Yesterday she brought up the topic again, and we assured her we will get her a puppy in the future. She said, "Next time... when I'm big girl, Mummy Daddy buy me a puppy... "

"Is your puppy a boy or girl?"

"Err... girl." (Mind you, sometimes her puppy is a "boy")

"What's the name of your puppy?" We asked.

"Joey."

Consistent answer. "But who's going to take care of your puppy?"

"Errm... I will feed it, and give it bath. Tie a string around the neck, like Lipton (who's Popo GongGong's dog) then give it bath."

OK. So I guess in two years' time we may have to fulfill her wish if she's still into dogs.

Different faces of William at 4 months old

We were at the living hall upstairs, while Daddy entertains Victoria with computer games and Mummy... (well err, can't remember what I was doing at the time... hanging around I guess) and Kakak was playing with William. It was one of those rare good nights that we were all together for a relaxed time. After a while, Victoria decided to abandon Daddy and the games to play with baby brother.

He's learnt to recognize his jie jie and laugh when she makes him and sings to him.

Being vain... with all my pretty little hairclips

About a year ago, my sister in law from the States (Auntie Winnie - to Victoria) handmade some pretty little hairclips and ribbons for Victoria. They were placed beautifully in a box complete with a netting base and so professionally made. There are 7 all together, and I presume one for each day of the week.

Victoria loves to take them out once in a while to wear them... all at once, or a few at a time, depending on her mood. She's not really into these clips and fanciful things on her hair, but she does have her girl-ly days.

Last week, she found the box and decided to wear them all. So I gladly helped her pin them on her hair just as she direct me and then asked her to oblige for some pictures to show Auntie Winnie. : )

And this is another picture of her just being cheeky. At the background are hers and William's clothings, half of them new and waiting to be worn when the time and size is right. She'd sometimes pick them and wear old smaller clothes, or insist to open the new ones.

Thank you, Auntie Winnie for the lovely clips and ribbons! Mummy won't let me wear them to school coz she's afraid that I might lose them. (Once when I misplaced the green one, Mummy almost went hysterical and asked the maid to drop her work to look for it... "sampai jumpa". We later found it in Daddy's car, phew!)

Pictures... where?

A friend of mine asked why there are so few pictures of Victoria, but so many of a smiling William. Well, that's because he loves to smile and laugh. Toddlers, on the other hand, are very aware of their surroundings and learn how to be shy. Victoria is very camera shy at this age, so it's hard to get good pictures of her to put up. We do take many of her spontaneously, and they are kept in our private folder. To view, do visit.

So, it's nothing to do with "never start her young" coz she has thousands of pictures take since she was born, and it's not that mummy love one more than the other. If you notice, there are more write-ups on Victoria than William, and that is because she has more activities, thoughts and play.

So, let's put the record straight. This blog is one where I pen my taughts, and record memories so that I can read them again when the kids are older. Enjoy your read and the pictures as they are put up. And feel free to comment.

Playdough I lovveeeeeee

This is our little project yesterday afternoon since our plan to go out did not materialise due to the rain. Victoria has been very excited over her play dough eversince I bought it for her last week. This is her idea and our creation together. From this...

...to this...

...to this.

Can you guess the significance of each of the duck (yes, it's a duck, btw!)?

Dinner time

Dinner time is sometimes stressful. Because Victoria eats very slow, she takes an hour to finish her meal, and on rare good days, within 45 minutes. She chews very slowly and keeps the food in the mouth. Even with soup or gravy, it does not help. Repeated reminders to swallow her food have little effect. It's such a stressful event, just to even keep her to her seat because, like many other typical chinese kids, she likes to run around after 2 minutes into her dinner. Yes, she is playful but I think this is due to old bad habits.

I'm not an expert but common sense tells me that children must be taught, from very young, that when eating, they must be put in a baby chair (even when they resist) to sit still until the meal is finished. Children must also understand that the dining area is for meal times, and living area for relaxation and play. Thus, they should only eat at the dining table, not in the living room, where they can roam around, or get distracted.

I hope when it's William's turn, my theory proves me right. There's no harm in a little pat on the hands to "discipline" the child, or a stern "No" to tell the baby that it's wrong.

No I'm not well yet but I can drink coconut water

Last Thursday, I brought Victoria for her follow up check up with the paediatrician who saw her when she was admitted. She was better, but still had some virus in her and is to continue her probiotics for the next two weeks. Her condition, I finally had the opportunity to jot down, is called acute gastroenteritis

During the appointment, she reminded me to asked the doctor if she can drink coconut water.

Doctor said yes, go ahead... so after that we went coconut-water hunting at our favourite coconut-water joint.

Mood vise, Victoria is still very playful and naughty, and maybe a little added dose of stubbornness.

The patriach and the matriach

On the day that Victoria was discharged from the hospital, she had two surprise visits, one from the matriach from Hubby's side aka her Tai po (great-grandmother) and slightly later, the patriach from my side aka Tai Gong (great-grandftather).

William was just happy to have jie jie back home. Victoria wasn't in the mood for photos having just arrived home, and is very photoshy at this age. This is Tai Po (who resides in Singapore):

Victoria was too engrossed with all the visitors, and didn't want to sit in for this photoshoot. This Tai Gong (who resides in Ipoh):

Discharged: Welcome home, Victoria!

Victoria was discharged yesterday evening from the hospital after her bowel movement stabilized. Her stool remain soft-ish but not watery, and she is to continue her probiotics medication over the next two days.

On the second day of admission, Victoria has ventured out of her hospital room and took pictures along the corridor. Here is a picture of in her own hospital room jovial as usual.

This is the entrance of her room, which is very nicely decorated:

And this is her room...

A closed up picture of her hand, where they inserted the drips on the first day.

Baby brother visited her everyday, and sometimes slept in the hospital baby cot too.
At home he is quiet and not his chatty self, and I think he misses his jie jie.

After all the discharge procedures, we finally left the hospital at 630pm, and arrived home at 730pm. How nice it is to have Victoria back home. (That night itself, Victoria was back to her naughty self)
