We arrived on Saturday after a small reunion with Popo and Gong Gong in Seremban the evening before. The traffic was smooth and the kids were well behaved in their respective car seats at the back whilst I sat in front. No maid. Vic took care of William's needs at the back.
We checked into Holiday Inn Atrium this year and my first impression of the place was good. The lobby was spacious and the kids had a happy time running up and down, and also admiring the 6 glass lifts from the lobby.
Mummy and boy boy
We had our reunion dinner at 6th Ee Poh's condo, together with her husband, 7th Ee Poh's family and very importantly, the matriach taipo (great-grandmother). I had my first lou sang (hubby had many before this... I tease him that he's eating lou sang like white rice... haha).
Lotsa home cooked food but a pity that Vic cannot enjoy everything. She asked about the food that we eat, wanting to taste some of it but did not cry when we told her she can't. Doctor's orders. One day soon, Vic, one day soon... her Ee Pohs kindly put aside some food for her before adding in ingredients that she's not allowed to take, and also cooked porridge and fish for the kids.
Yummy food...

Vic shyed away from phototaking, so this is the best shot I had of her

Wow, nice.. All the balik kampung reunion atmosphere. I wasn't able to do that this year as my wife is due and will go to labour anytime now. In addition to that, my uncle is hospitalized for 2nd and 3rd degree burn will preparing food, and need to attend to him daily, while my maid scalded herself and had a 1st degree burn over her thigh. Sigh...
