My little girl touched a snake!

Victoria went on a school outing to Zoo Negara about 2 weeks ago and she came home telling me that she touched a snake, under supervision.

I let out a squeal of disgust and shock. Then I asked Vic if she touched the snake like this ( indicating a quick jab on the arm) or like this (stroking the arm)...

And she replied, "like this, mummy... (stroking the arm)".

She stroked a snake! But then she told me it was a skinny green snake ie grass snake. Not the white fat python, thank God.

She is definitely more brave than mummy.

Hello Irene, ha ha...you got a brave, adventurous girl there.
Grass snakes are harmless. I used to catch them, release in cinemas, ha ha. Or in school.
If you've never seen teachers in a cheong sum or sarong kebaya scramble out a door packed with students, or jump on a table...ha ha ha...
this was it.

Its good to let young kids experience all these....they'll grow up not being afraid or squeamish about things.
Have a nice day.
Best regards.
Lee.
