They love each other

Victoria loves her brother dearly. Despite the occassional possessiveness over toys and stroller which used to belong to her, she shows her care and love openly and generously. How? She kisses her little brother's head, sometimes when i'm nursing him, and that's truly an act of love and unselfishness. She hugs him, and also kisses his cheeks. She loves carrying him, sometimes up to a few times a day and I have to discourage her in case William gets bodyache : ) Of course, when it comes to helping out, she enjoys bringing his face flannel, putting on his hat, buttoning and unbuttoning his shirt, accompanying him and playing with him during bath time, sings to him and she even mimics us adults with baby talks!

William? He's too young and too small to reciprocate. But I know he knows he's loved dearly by his sister. He wakes up 7am-ish to wake his sister up for school. He plays on the bed while waiting for his sister to wash up and dress up. He sends his jie jie off to school at the doorstep or garden. And when it's time to pick Victoria up from school, he's usually awake around 11am, takes his milk, plays and waits to get into the car to Victoria's kindy.

When it's Victoria's bath time at 2pm, William is most of the time awake and playful. He takes his water obediently when Victoria spoons it to him and he watches her admiringly as she dances and sings.

Aahhh.. as for jealousy? People ask me if Victoria is jealous of the new baby. Well, sometimes. Sometimes Victoria says she doesn't want William. But all in all, I think we have prepared her well while William was still in the womb, and she has prepared herself too. She sees William as part of the family and is excited for William to grow up and play with her one day.
