William... sometimes I tease him by saying that his buttocks has got nails... haha, in Chinese there is such a saying especially for people who cannot sit still.
Well, it's a joke, but it's true. My boy loves to walk (aided) and stand (also aided) and now when he eats, we have to strap him on the waist and the shoulder to keep him sitted.
Whenever we go outstation, we make sure we bring along his walker. He loves his independence and given the space, he's run in it, make three point turns, reverse.
In the car, thank God he still knows how to sit and enjoy the ride, but of course, like all babies, there are times when he just can't stand to sit. Haha.
When we change his nappy, he doesn't like to lie down and let us get down to business. He'd stand and hang on to us while we change him, and a few times I got "shot" with his pee just as I take off the soiled nappy. Hhmpk. I will sort this out with him when he's older. ; )
Occassionally he has this song in his head, I think, and his buttocks will suddenly move up and down in a dancing motion. We normally clap our hands to encourage him. He likes that. And sometimes he joins us when we clap and sing. Ada mood la, so don't think you can always see this act.
In the garden, he wants to get down and walk. Like his sister. Like us. He'd try to wriggle out of my arms and somehow end up back in the house... haha.
At the shopping malls, he still can sit in his stroller but with the William-style. That means, sit upright with one arm (normally the right) holding to the front arm rest, half outside the stroller (y'know, like some men drivers). No way is he gonna sleep in the malls, eventhough it's his sleeping time.
Too busy checking out the chics, maybe. ; )
